A few weeks ago, I offered to build 10 websites for free. A comment I left on @refusetoquit received over 150 likes. Some of those websites are now live. Seeing business owners finally have a website they’re proud to share made me want to help more people take that step.
A good website shouldn’t feel out of reach because you don’t have a big budget. I’ve made the starting point faster, but you’ll still work directly with me. First, tell me about your business. Then I show you what your site could look like — before you decide to pay anything.

If you accept the preview and scope, pay the activation fee. We confirm your essential content by email, then I finalise the site for your approval.

Choose £150/year hosting with me, or pay a one-off £150 fee and arrange your own hosting. We confirm final approval and domain readiness before launch.
£175 in total to proceed: £25 activation plus £150. With my hosting, the £150 covers your first year and renews annually. With your own hosting, the £150 is a one-off fee; you pay your provider separately. Any new domain or agreed extras cost separately. Compare the options →
Timing: allow 2–4 weeks after activation payment and essential content approval. Final approval, your chosen hosting arrangement and domain readiness also affect launch. I’ll confirm timing personally.
Is the website really free?
The initial preview and discovery call are free, with no obligation to continue. If you proceed with the agreed straightforward website, you pay £25 activation plus £150. There’s no additional design or build bill for the agreed scope.
What do I pay if I go ahead?
Your first payments to me total £175: £25 activation plus £150. With my hosting, the £150 covers year one and renews annually. With your own hosting, the £150 is a one-off fee and you pay your provider separately. Domain registration, business email and agreed extras cost separately.
How long does it take?
Allow around 2–4 weeks after activation payment and approval of your essential content. I’ll confirm timing personally. Launch also depends on final approval, your chosen hosting arrangement and domain readiness. Submitting the form or booking a call doesn’t reserve a guaranteed launch date.
Can I edit the website myself?
The standard static website doesn’t include a login or visual editing dashboard. If you need to update text, images or blog posts yourself, tell me before we start. We can discuss a platform such as WordPress, with the setup and any additional costs agreed separately.
What happens if I need changes after launch?
One-off updates cost £60 per hour, with the estimated cost and timing agreed before work starts. For regular updates, optional Priority Website Maintenance is £50 per month under a 12-month agreement, including up to one hour of small updates each month.
